Monoprinting is an immediate and accessible print medium that produces colourful prints on paper. The monoprint process uses watercolours and oil-based inks painted directly onto plastic plates that are printed onto fine art cotton rag paper, using a press or printing by hand.

This program is designed to increase participation in the arts by offering a hands-on relaxed introduction to printmaking. Conducted in APW’s professional printmaking studios this program will be conducted by APW Printers and is suited to participants of all ages and ability.
