Working in collaboration with APW printers, John created a series of 11 intaglio and lithographs during his APW Collie Print Trust Printmaking Fellowship project. Each work was printed in an edition of 20 + proofs.
Included in John's series of prints are 8 small intaglio and lithographs based on a diary of Jong Ah Siug (1869) housed in the collection of the State Library of Victoria. The diary is a unique account of life on the Victorian Goldfields, and Jong’s incarceration in gaol and finally in an asylum. John also produced 3 large intaglio and photolithographs.
John worked with APW Printers from March - August 2023. The body of prints will be launched at APW Gallery in October 2023.
