David Sequeira

The 2024 APW Collie Print Trust Printmaking Fellowship was awarded to Melbourne based artist David Sequeira.

Born in India, David is a Melbourne-based artist, curator, and academic. Renowned for his multidisciplinary approach, David’s work has been widely exhibited across Australia and internationally and is held in significant public collections.

The APW Collie Print Trust Printmaking Fellowship allowed David to explore his ongoing interest in the contemplative aspects of colour and geometry through the medium of printmaking.

David collaborated with APW printers to produce a series of 32 multi-colour lithographs, including four works that were each printed in editions of 20 (plus proofs).
David’s work was launched in an exhibition, I hear a symphony at APW Gallery in February 2025.
