This one-day class offers the opportunity to explore two simple and highly effective printmaking techniques.
Use drawings or photographs as guides to draw, scratch and incise directly into plastic plates, creating images with texture and tone. Construct spontaneous and colourful monotypes, merging painting and printmaking, to create beautiful one-of-a-kind prints.
These techniques are ideal for teachers to take back to the school classroom and for secondary students preparing their art folios.
Part of APW's Winter School.
