This two-day introductory course explores the basics of stone lithography, providing an opportunity to draw and paint on lithographic stones using a variety of crayons, pencils and tusche.
Learn how to prepare and grain a lithographic stone, process the drawing, and prepare paper.
Participants will gain an understanding of the intricate process of making a stone lithograph and develop the skills to print a limited edition.
Conditions of Enrolment
Full payment must be made at time of registration. Refunds will only be given if:
Payment is received after the class has been filled.
The class is cancelled.
The participant notifies APW of their withdrawal at least 14 days before the start date of the class (a fee of $50 will be charged for each withdrawal).
APW is not responsible for non-refundable airline or travel tickets or accommodation purchased by class participants. Parking is restricted around APW. Public transport is a convenient alternative.
Participants agree to comply with all public health orders applicable at the time of the class. For creative studios, it is currently mandated that participants be fully vaccinated and wear masks.
