Opportunity - to Join the APW Team

APW Print Intern

APW is excited to invite applications for the APW Print Intern position.

The APW Print Intern position offers a rare opportunity for someone who is passionate about original prints and contemporary Australian art and is interested in pursuing a career in the field (perhaps as a print curator or scholar; or a collections manager or registrar; or archivist) to gain valuable 'hands-on' experience in Australia's leading professional print studio and print gallery.

Working under the guidance of APW’s highly skilled team, the year-long Internship provides practical experience across a range of Australian Print Workshop's operations and programs, providing opportunities to gain broader experience in arts administration.

The Print Intern will also assist with APW’s public programs, gallery operations and exhibitions.

The APW Print Intern position is a paid, twelve-month, part-time (Tuesday-Friday, 9am-5pm) role, commencing in 2023.

An annual stipend of $45,000 (plus SG superannuation) is offered for the twelve-month (EFT: 0.8) engagement.

Applicants who can demonstrate an interest and knowledge of original prints and contemporary Australian art & artists are sought for this exciting role.

Applications must include a brief CV and letter outlining experience relevant to the role description.

Applications should be submitted as a single PDF document to: contact@australianprintworkshop.com

Application deadline: 5pm, Friday 9 June 2023.
