Australian Print Workshop is easily accessible by public transport.
Tram Route 86 travels along Gertrude Street, directly past APW and stops a few minutes’ walk from our front door. Alight at the tram stop on the corner of Gertrude and Smith Streets and APW is less than a 2 minute walk.
By train, the nearest station Parliament Station located in the CBD. APW is a 15 minute walk from Parliament Station – exit the station at Nicholson Street and head towards the Carlton Gardens, the Exhibition Building and Melbourne Museum. Gertrude Street is almost directly opposite the Exhibition Building – and APW is a few blocks away.
Bike racks are in ample supply along Gertrude Street, with a number of racks located directly outside APW – on the corner of Gertrude and Gore Streets.
Metered street parking is available in Gertrude and Gore Streets (and other surrounding streets). There are a number of Commercial car parks within a 10 minute walk of APW. Long-stay metered street parking is very limited around APW, making public transport an attractive alternative.
Australian Print Workshop Gallery is fully wheelchair accessible and APW has one accessible toilet.
A designated disabled parking space is located on Gertrude Street, just a few doors away from the APW Gallery main entrance.
