APW Printmaking Internship

The APW Printmaking Internship offers a rare opportunity for someone who is passionate about printmaking and interested in pursuing a career in the field of fine art printmaking to gain valuable hands-on experience in a professional print studio and gallery.

Working under the guidance of APW’s highly skilled printers, the APW Intern will gain practical experience across a range of printing techniques and studio management skills. Assisting APW staff with other aspects of the Workshop’s operations, including the exhibitions program and gallery operations, will provide opportunities to gain broader experience in arts administration.

The APW Internship is a twelve-month, part-time (Tuesday-Friday, 9am-5pm) paid position commencing July 2017. This 0.8 position attracts an annual salary of $40,000 (+ 9.5% SG Superannuation).

Applicants must be able to demonstrate basic printmaking skills and/or knowledge of printmaking and contemporary art.
